I am the first light of day, I am the rain after long summer days. I am Hope where there is none, I am the Light of God when all is dark, I am each sprout of an early Spring, I am the knowing that relief will come, I am the sun that glistens promises on fresh morning snow, I am warmth glowing securely on many never ending nights, I am the unexpected mercy when none is expected, I am the life soul in a last breath, I am a brave pony’s snorts and neighs protecting my old kitty, no, no, no I am not ready to take a nap or a bath, I am a baby’s hop skip and jump in the late evening sun, I am that last kiss of night before we drift into slumber, I am what energizes my Mom on a long tired day, I am her deepest aspiration of her desires and potential , I am what makes a hard day doable and a repeatable, I am stress made worthwhile, I am happiness, I am energy, I am love and a hug, I am my Mother’s hopes, I am the future prayed for long ago, I am one of my Mother’s greatest achievements and a gift to humanity, I am the hand that will save so many human lives. I was imagined long ago by my ancestral women, I am Laura’s guardian and shepherd and a light to guide her, I am an integral family member in the journey of our history written as we go and yet to be defined. I am the sum of all those that love me. I am Tori.
