I am truly appalled by the access issue of a friend that he experienced while at The Great Dickens Christmas Fair located in California. This is one of those instances that has truly affected the entire service dog community. Kaline and Chief were the service dogs denied access. Kaline was wearing a BLD harness and when the teams tried to enter, the head of security, Sondra, said they could not enter, because Kaline was presumably dangerous -eyeroll- because why else would she need such a large harness to control her. The police were called and they did nothing to enforce the ADA law - so the service dog teams had to leave before even getting to enter the fair. I guess we will find out in due time what comes of this dilemma. Until then... #IStandWithKalineAndChief
