I am truly blessed and grateful to have been married 32 years today to a man like no other. I remember (shortly after we met) the day at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital when I was going to my Dads hospital room right before they were to take him down for his operation. I heard your voice and his as I entered the room, but after what I saw I quickly backed out and leaned against the hallway wall and began to cry -- tears of joy and tears of thanks that you were in my life . You knew how much I loved my Dad - extremely brilliant (MIT physicist), but also equally as difficult to communicate with - let alone hold his hand, kneel down on the floor beside his bed and get him to pray aloud with you. I had never seen this or ever expected to see it. As I listened to that amazing moment, I knew then that you were the one for me... Your understanding of a persons fears, your sensitivity to worries, your guidance to do the right thing no matter how difficult, your gentle control in scary situations, your strength and courage to take the lead, your tender heart, your caring friendship to people of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities... and your unconditional love and devotion to me and my family was so evident ... you captured my heart. All this and so much more is why I fell in love with you then, and your magic has continued all these years as I have watched you affect so many lives around the world! Thank you, Sweetie, for all the memories, the Edelweiss moments, our beautiful daughters, and your love! Happy 32nd Anniversary to the man of my dreams who soars like an eagle!
