I am usually not much of a country fan and I am also not personally a person inclined to praying, but I was struck by this incredibly powerful yet basic video from Reba McEntire that has struck a chord with so many people that it has gone viral in the last few days. Coming out with a song of this kind of simplicity is a really gutsy move under any circumstances. And for me, its that gutsy simplicity (along with the video) that drives home the message that peace is needed, and something that almost all of us desire. Incidentally, by pure coincidence I got to meet Reba in a casual setting a couple of years ago and got to exchange a few words with her without knowing very much about her at the time. And I found her to be one of the most friendly, down to earth and genuine people you will ever meet. Hats off to you, Reba - I am sharing this!
