I am very excited because I just found out that I have been chosen as one of Pikes Peak Community Colleges nominees for the All-USA Academic Team! There will be a banquet held next Spring up in Denver and a host of amazing things about this. I have to give an extremely heartfelt shout out to those who have helped me immensely. These individuals have been absolutely instrumental in my success and I thank every one of them (Sorry if this turns into what sounds like an Academy Award winning speech, but at least you can go to the next post :) In no particular order than to group people together... A huge shout out to my Phi Theta Kappa Advisors Glenn and Carole, as well as Colorado Regional Coordinator Leigh. Also I would not have been here without my fellow Phi Theta Kappa regional and chapter officers. Kat, Gene, and Kevin have educated me so much in how to be a Regional Officer and without the amazing support and hard work of Amanda, Jessica, Lauren, Amber and Samona. My Anthropology Club officers and advisor have shown me so much in regards to being a leader. And so thank you Sandi, Jessica, Adrienne, Zach, April and Carina. And of course to the many Professors and Advisors, of which there are too many to name. Many thanks especially to Professor Kristy Callihan, who has also advised me, Professor Carrie Spencer and Advisor Mike Couilliard. I really have to thank and honor Jennifer Blalock,who is the Chief of Student Support Services, College Relations & CollegeFish.org for Phi Theta Kappa for giving me the biggest opportunity and challenge of my life. Thank you all and so many more!!
