I am very excited that CMC Rocks is in Queensland next year! Theyve already started advertising in local papers and radio stations. I feel for those that have already booked their accommodation and I hope it is rectified. I think its an excellent move from Rob Potts. Hed know how huge of a following we have in Queensland. I think its only fair that it is moved around. Yes I know we have the Gympie Muster and other smaller festivals but none of these compare to the artists we get to see at CMC Rocks. I personally know a lot of people who have never been to the Hunter or the Snowys as they cant afford to travel as well as pay for a ticket. So its a wonderful opportunity for those living in South East Queensland to have the chance to see these wonderful artists, artists we have been able to see for the last 3+ years. Im seeing a lot of complaints about it being too far and too hard. It was a 12 hour trip for us to get to the Hunter but we gladly did it as we love the festival. If you love the music enough, you try your hardest to get there. The venue cant suit everybody.
