I am very pleased to have been asked to speak at the Parliamentary Lobby - 9 October. I will making a short speech along with other Napo Members and our Officers and Officials. Ill be working on this over the weekend and will no doubt be seeking advice from regular Facebook contributors. I want to get across the threats to public safety and how the TR plans are already impacting upon Probation Staff and how it will affect the professionalism of our service. The Lobby of Parliament on 9 October is pivotal in Napo’s parliamentary campaign as the Offender Rehabilitation Bill goes back into the Commons in late October. Lobby Guidance If you are attending please write to your MP to ask to meet them. Even if you are not you can write to tell them about the rally and ask them to attend. Due to security measures we will all have to go in at the same time. Please meet Napo on the street by St Stephens Entrance at 12.30pm. (Map attached). Contact Kath Falcon to let her know numbers [email protected]. If possible make a timed appointment with your MP. If you can’t, you can Green Card them i.e. go to reception at Central Lobby and say you wish to see your MP – more advice on this when you get there. Rally – 1pm – 2.30pm We have two rooms booked for the rally with a variety of guest speakers including parliamentarians, stakeholders, justice agencies and members. We have an early day motion that we will be distributing to members on the day to ask their MP’s to sign. See YOU in London
