I am very proud I didnt cave in and let Facebook do my year in review, so I will do it myself. :) 2014... One more day left, but since this day is going to be remembered by driving to Rieden and hopefully a lot of beer afterwards, better to say goodbye to her now. As usual, a lot of ups and downs. Beginning of the year was all about Brynns second litter - 7 beautiful puppies that all now have amazing owners and great lifes, and even though I think her C-section was one of the worst hours of my life, it was all worth it. I also started running with by borrowed bunny Vis - from March until now we managed to get to A3 (okay, Damir helped a bit :), and we wrapped the year with 2nd place at Amadeus - running this American knockout was definately an awesome experience and got me so pumped up I just cant wait to see what next year will bring for us! Ris and I are also slowly starting to be a team - we qualified for AWC, which turned out to be a huge disaster and one of the lower points of the year, the surface didnt suit him at all and there was nothing for me to do about it - and also everything else about this competition was somehow off - so after my first AWC experience European open still remains my ultimate favourite competition ever - and here Ris managed to place 6th in individual agility run and my team with Alen and Željko also placed 3rd in team qualifications (one of the super cool and exhausting parts of this experience was running 2 dogs in the same team, both Ris and Will) - but no luck in the finals... Since end of the year generally marked with 2nd places, Ris also surprised me with 2nd place overall at Croatian Sheepdog Working Championship, a competition that is still maybe smaller in numbers, but really huge in heart - 2 years ago he was still too young to compete, so I waited for this a looong time. Just to prove life does not always turn out as planned, this summer we opened a pet store, me and my family. So that is a huge part of my life now. No idea what will happen with this next, but for now it is being exactly what I needed. So I guess some stuff slowly started getting into place this year. Some new friendships were born - this is something I would not trade for the world - the people in question know who they are. :) Some traditions were born that I would not trade for anything, and also in my I-think-about-them-as-my-second-family family a little amazing girl was born, so finally a couple years from now I can buy a lot of pink ponies, and not only Legos. :D It is not about where you are and what you are doing - it is who you choose to stand next to you. And somehow always when I look around I am surrounded by amazing people and can only say to them: thank you for putting up with me. I love you guys. I have this feeling 2015 will be somehow a year when a lot will change, hopefully for the better. Although when I put it all on paper, or screen, as you wish, it sounds it was already pretty good. So bbye 2014., it was my pleasure. We will set you off in great company and with a lot of drinking, followed by my biggest addiction: agility. What could be better? :D https://youtube/watch?v=3DWB7CBdvXU
