I am waiting for the fist fight to break out. I watch the sardonic expressions of the poor bedraggled employees dissipate, as they listlessly drag along the giant bins filled with the tangled discards of a hundred garages and abandon them to run for their lives, before the rabid flocks of scavengers descend upon them. Throwing elbows right and left to secure their spot at the treasure trove, they viciously fling aside the undesirables, beady eyes glinting with greedy fervor, moist mouths ready to snarl amd snap at any neighboring fingers that might dare to impinge. Last time I was here, some kid dove headlong onto the concrete floor and knocked himself unconscious. I believe it was a reaction to breathing the air of sheer desperation. I also wonder if the guy at the cash register with vampire fangs and a missing bicuspid lost his human tooth to a belligerent crowd of consumers. Ah, adventuring in the Goodwill bins...
