I am working on a HIV and AIDS Peer Education and Life Skills Training Workshop planned to take place early February 2014. This is a pilot project which will employs various strategies to bring awareness about STI, HIV and AIDS, tackle stigma and discrimination, build life skills, counseling and referral to basic STI, HIV and AIDS and VCT information and services. The activities will involve selection and recruitment of Community Peer Educators (CoPE), Training on Peer Education, Life skills and Counselling; Outreach Education, IEC and Condom distribution, Referral, Small Group Sessions targeted towards risk assessment and risk reduction.
