I apologize to anyone out there that I might offend by what I am about to do. I have been thinking about this since Sunday when I received the news. There are so many of the "Oaklyn School" family out there on social media that I think would want to know, and say a prayer. I am saddened to report that this past Sunday, Joann Ostrander passed away. She taught at Oaklyn School for 30 years, and I can attest to the fact that she was totally devoted to the Oaklyn School, her job, and her students. When she first faced cancer treatments, she would go before school to have her treatments. Then she would show up to work with a smile on her face for her class, happy to spend the rest of her day with them.. She certainly was one in a million, and Oaklyn was lucky to have her on staff. Her obituary is in the Courier Post today. Her services are this Thursday. Time certainly passes by much quicker than we realize. Live each day to the fullest for none of us know how and when our story will end. Please post and share with all your Oaklyn family buddies!
