I arrived here at Jamaica Beach in Galveston yesterday around 3:00 p.m. - really felt like I was coming home! Today was the traditional Thanksgiving Day dinner(s) - there were three sittings - I went to the first one at 11:30. Amazing food, as usual - turkey and all the trimmings, plus pies and pies and more pies - and side dishes and fruit dishes, etc., etc. Ron and Dora sure know how to throw a fantastic Thanksgiving celebration! My RV is parked right next to Rob and Helens - just like we booked last April. Our doors open onto a central green space with picnic tables - awesome! Im so glad to be here - and to know that Im not going to be picking up and moving tomorrow or the next day! Have been wanting to find Pat, and saw her after dinner tonight (yes, leftovers were served at 6:00) - I may not need to eat for at least a day - except that Dora is making gumbo tomorrow night with the leftover leftovers . . . A happpy Thanksgiving here in Texas!!
