I asked a co-worker for $1 this morning. She then asked what do I need it for? So I showed her my tiny little donation box and explained what happened in the Philippines. As she was about to hand me the dollar... she asked me, Why does your God create all these typhoons and kill so many people? (shaking her head in dismay). I was shocked by the question since I am not an Everything by the Bible type of Christian. So I said the first thing that popped in my head, Bad things do not happen to people because God wants it. Bad things happen because of the choices people make. heard this somewhere.. but cant remember where. Sometimes, people blame people, sometimes people blame their religious beliefs. We ask God why me? why not the bad people? why not the Senators who have corrupted and manipulated the world? Its not fair. The pain you feel burdens you and the people around you. You feel helpless, you play the game of What couldve been, shouldve been, wouldve been... but for whatever reason, reasons, people might have lost of their biblical faith. It makes you wonder how every terrible thing that happened, in a few countless years... it always turns out to be a much better place than it was before. You realise the reason why everything happened and this time you know everything has all fallen into place. God always finds a way to comfort you, even if sometimes you feel like its never fair. Even if sometimes you feel like you no longer believe in Him. He will pat you in a back to say... I am here. Let me help you. You will be surprised how many miracle stories you will hear from this devastation. Never lose your faith. God will always find a way. #BangonPilipinas #YolandaPH
