I attended a very positive, inspirational and productive meeting that focused on what was going on in the Michael Brown case. It was productive in that we were introduced to various resources in which we could take various forms of action. We were given websites and Twitter accounts. prayingwithourfeet.org. This website is a coalition of the St. Louis clergy, agencies and organizations to help the community deal with the underlying social ills that created the environment for this tragedy to happen, as well as the behavior that followed it. for Twitter: #dontshootme a St. Louis official is asking people to tweet to this address. You say things like I am walking down the street. Dont shoot me OR I am reading at the library. Dont shoot me. This to bring attention to the racial profiling of African-Americans. Especially our males. Rebecca Frazier please correct me if any of these addresses are incorrect. The following are petitions: https://change.org/petitions/st-louis-county-and-city-create-a-michael-brown-law-requiring-police-officers-to-wear-cameras-and-record-any-interaction-with-the-public-at-all-times?recruiter=572265&utm_campaign=share_facebook_mobile&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=share_petition change.org/petitions/eric-holder-justice-for-mike-brown-protect-citizens-from-gun-violence-inept-law-enforcement-and-police-brutality There is another one directed to the Governor of Missouri but I will have to share it later. Please visit the websites, twitter accounts and PLEASE sign the petitions. THAT is how we can help Michael Browns family! THANK YOU!
