I attended the protest rally and meeting with city commissioners regarding the privatization of public assets yesterday morning. Proud of and and inspired by everyone that spoke yesterday on the steps in front of San Franciscos City Hall and in front of the Park and Rec Community Commission. The community showed up to support the young soccer players that stood their ground against the tech guys and rightfully so, the kids faced entitled opposition with dignity and leadership. They didnt lose their cool. They even offered to play TOGETHER but the Airbnb and Dropbox employees instead chose to push a piece of paper in their face, told them they had to leave, and hid behind their money while dissing the same community they claimed to be a part of.
