I awoke this morning, made breakfast for daughter Cally and husband Phil, watched them drive off to school and work, got dressed to walk Moses. BUT THEN, of course, I had to check Kickstarter to see where we were and not only did I see that we made our initial goal, but I also saw that the lovely Ms. Tager and her family closed to gap to get us to our $10,000 goal. We dont see the Tagers often--as is the case with many friends who backed this campaign, but they all play a significant role in our lives. The Tagers gave Killian that famous grey fedora he wore constantly the last year of his life (and on the cover of Somewhere Else). They are the fabric of our joy and purpose. We will honor that, by generating as much humor and comfort as we can to others through Grumpy Fish Aid Every backer we get for this project beyond this point = more books for children with cancer. -- BABS
