I believe that the person of Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus should be recognized and honored a lot more than it is. Protestantism although it got many things right, ultimately defined western Christianity in such a way that lead to many truths being lost. Mary is an emblem of womanhood and a model to follow by sisters every where. There is a definite stigma due to the Protestant reformation that makes statements like this considered borderline blasphemy. Mary is a type of the Church and a true spiritual figure just as much as other figures who are uplifted in the Scriptures. #balance #iamnotaprotestant
