I believe the panel is well aware of my general attitude of this time of year (the word Scrooge, while inaccurate, gets thrown around a lot). But there are just a few things that I truly love about the holiday. And this is one of them. As someone on the TV message board I frequent once wrote, The season doesnt really start until Jay Thomas tells the Lone Ranger story and Darlene Love sings Christmas (Baby Please Come Home). Last year, I recorded her performance and watched it with Matthew the next morning. I wish I couldve made this a tradition with him. But well be watching it tomorrow morning, I promise you that. Here now, the second-best Christmas song of all time.
