I believe we have Freedom of Choice, Freedom of Speech and Freedom - TopicsExpress

I believe we have Freedom of Choice, Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Association in Nigeria Good day to all Deltans out there. I’m using this medium to inform the general public that since I wrote the report about Senator Okowa entitled “Kudos to Senator Okowa for his Political Networking and Consultation tour for Delta State 2015 General Elections” I been getting a lot of information that some individuals believed I have stepped on their toes. From the details I got so far, their allegation was that I did not support their aspirant or that I have insulted their aspirant. I was informed these individuals are prepared to castigate my name or blackmail me because of this issue. In my part, the report was generalized, it does not point to a specific aspirant or group of aspirants as the field is crowded with many aspirants from different local government across Delta State. Whoever that wants to castigate my name or blackmail me should be prepared to prove beyond reasonable doubts whatever he or she writes because I don’t take no for an answer. I do not owe any one any explanation nor do I owe any one any apology because no one to apologized to. My report was simply on the Senator and his achievements, and his political journey so far from what I do know. I did not mention any Governorship aspirant’s name in the report and I don’t play politics of local government divide or ethnic divide because I’m too mature for that type of politics. I’m internationally trained and I know where to draw the line, and I do not cherish parochial approach to political issues. I have a broad knowledge of refined politics and I don’t go for local and crude politics. No one should drag me to that type of politics because I know when something won’t work. I call a spade by its proper name. For those threating to castigate my name or blackmail me, I may not have the same political agenda, philosophy or ideology as you and I do not have to support the aspirant you are supporting. I do believe we have freedom of choice, freedom of speech and freedom of association in Nigeria as the nation has a Democratic Government. With all due respect to the general public, I want to let you know that I’m still maintaining my stand, as a Delta State indigene, a Patriotic Leader and a PDP Stalwart from Ika South Local Government, my position for Delta State Leadership for the Governorship race election 2015 is to produce a Governor that will promote a stronger and united Delta State predicated on justice, equity and fair play. Personally, I believe and listen to the voice of the people because the voice of the people is the voice of God. The people (majority of Deltans) have made up their mind and their choice is Senator Okowa. They believe the Senator is the crème de la crème (the very best) among other aspirants or candidates when it comes down to credibility, reliability, professionalism, personality, integrity, management, leadership, loyalty and empowerment among others. He is more detailed, more thorough and more liberal as opposed to other aspirants or candidates. In my humble and sincere opinion, Senator Okowa is currently the finest administrators among the candidates indicating interest in Delta State Governorship in the next election, irrespective of their political affiliations. He has excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills. The Senator has the charm, brilliance, competence, compassion, loyalty and patriotism every Governor must have to succeed. He is accepted as a friend at home and abroad. His network of accomplices cut across the strata of Delta State and beyond. The imposition of a Governorship candidate on Deltans could lead to the cobra effect and the cobra effect occurs when an attempted solution to a problem (which may be a political problem, social problem, economic problem or financial cover up, among other problems) actually makes the problem worse. Any imposition of an aspirant as the Governorship candidate by a single individual may be disastrous to the party. Thank you, Elder (Dr.) Chukwuma O. Nwaonicha.
