I believe what happens after we die can actually be understood for the first time through interdisciplinary studies of suppressed science. The seat of our soul sits in the center of our brain and acts as an antennae of sorts to bind our conscious, higher dimensional mind to our body. This is mediated by the 5-hydroxytryptamine neurotransmitter subset that regulates conscious thought, perception, and mood; all are byproducts of activity within this system. Seratonin-esque precursors have a high affinity to this system and a variety of precursors to which are produced in the pineal gland. (Read comments for extension)
