I bookmarked this to show it to my daughter when she grows up... its a nice collection. Our generation will be the last to see legends.. I have a theory why no one from now on will achieve a legend status. Legends are made n not born.. agree? And all those whom we consider as legends today.. we know only a particular info abt them.. n tht info alone shapes their personalities in our head.. so they remain as legends. But with the current generation n use of technology n communication... there is not just one perspective u get of a person.. name a person n u can gather all sorts of info about them. We also challenge everyone.. dont have any qualms about insulting them or writing them off for their every action. So we are no more knowing them for their best actions... we now know them for all their actions.. even a mundane one. So we dont give them the legendary status n hence we dont pass it on to our children. Eg. Mohd Rafi to me is not just his songs but also the admiration my dad had for him.. so since the time I was a kid.. that big legendary image was fed into me... n bcoz we didnt have google n neither did Rafi have a FB account.. so all my dad knew was what DD n AIR told him.. what my dad knew... I got to know. Ok... long theory... anyway I think if we all live our avg life spans... we will see the end of almost all the last few living legends.. n put out RIPs from the heart.
