I borrowed this : I approve of the ice bucket challenge! I support the awareness this has brought to ALS. I love hearing of the massive amounts of donations this challenge has brought to a very important cause. I am thrilled that so many people across the world have stepped up, either physically or financially to help make a difference. There are many ugly disorders that affect so many people. ALS, MD, CP, CMT, just to name a very few. I have a different challenge. Find someone who suffers from one of these and reach out. Many of these people are reliant on others to get by. Even someone who has an excellent support group gets lonely, or bored, or sad. If you dont know someone personally, the chances are very good that you are friends with, work with, go to school with, or go to church with someone who knows another that could use a friend. Call them, go visit them, enjoy a cup of coffee together, play a board game, watch a movie, have a conversation about nothing, It may seem like a very small thing to you, an hour out of your life, but it could make a very big difference to someone who might enjoy your company very much. After all, you can never have too many friends, right?
