I bought new Elmarit 1:2.8/28 asph in November 2013. A week ago I came across this issue (in the video), the element where the lens hood has a place to be attached moves around in the endless loop. I can however take photos without any problem, but its getting annoying. Did anyone else experience such thing? As I am based in Mauritania (with no reliable shipping agencies) I will not be able to send it to Leica service in Switzerland any time soon, so if anyone has suggestions how to DIY repair it I would appreciate that. I forgot to mention that there was no fall of the lens nor any physical damage that caused this to happen.
