I came across this question, did Jesus die for us? Some1 answered yes He did, but thats not the goodnews. Everybody dies. And so the goodnews is dat He resurrected again. If I shud follow by d way he is going, I wud also tell him dat everybody resurrects! Wen u die, u still resurrect at d oda side, either to heaven or hell. And wen Jesus comes, d christians too will resurrect even physically. Wats d difference? Dat concept is vry wrong. U cant compare d death of Christ with d death dat people die here on earth. Peoples death has brought nothing to us. Most of all, its just d burial rice! It hasnt saved a pin. As a christian you must know that both d death of Christ and d resurrection of Christ are goodnews. Infact, if there be any good news among the two, its the very fact that He died. Dats the real good news! The death of Christ is the goodnews to us becos His death was for our victory and salvation, and His resurrection is an expression of His supremacy and power over all things including death. It takes nothing for the Father to raise the Son from the dead, but my dear, it cost the Father so much to watch d Son die. It cost Jesus so much to bear all the pains and suffering (baptism of suffering) to the cross and die! Without His death, there wud never be anything as resurrection. So both are goodnews, and if any1 shud be selected out as d goodnews, it is His death which was an expression of His unconditional love.
