I came home from my retreat today to a belonging-less, furniture-less, and bed-less bedroom. All of my things are eloquently stuffed in plastic bags that I am too lazy to untie and the room is completely empty thanks to my parents. They took the favor I asked of them seriously and helped me start completely fresh, leaving my room with close to nothing upon my return. My first reaction was Wow. This doesnt feel like my home anymore. ...but after gypsy-ing around all day without my previously comforting cave to go to for closure, I realized how little materialism is needed to live, and how home is everywhere. I think Ill go sleep on the carpet and have a freakin awesome time..until I think of what epic thing to do next with these empty walls of mine. Im thinking clouds..lots and lots of clouds.
