~I came home from the hospital for just a little while to attempt to bake a cake.. My Daddys birthday is tomorrow.. I was pretty well convinced that I would never, ever be able to get it together.. But as I was preparing the cake through my mind fog, some beautiful voices came to me through my memory and my heart to instruct me exactly how to make it perfect.. My Mama, my Mama Brewer and my Granny Franks.. I learned to cook & bake under these amazing women ( with a few much loved aunts thrown in) as a very small child who needed a step stool to reach the countertop.. To this day I never measure anything whether Im cooking or baking.. Guess I have plenty of clear voices of authoritive love instructing me exactly how much or what now? Thank you Lord for blessing me with such amazing role model women to look up to.. And especially thank you for always bringing them and their loving guidance to my heart and mind when I am literally asking Where do I go from here? .. I am truly blessed beyond measure.. Certainly more than I can ever earn or deserve.. Please help me God to be more like these beautiful, Godly women who have influenced every single moment of my life.. Thank you, Lord... ~
