I can not understand why, after living in the country for 14 years, all of a sudden we have had 3 abandoned dogs. Never have we had them before!! 2 were stolen and let loose (puppies) the most recent one is older and beautiful! Dogs are not throw-aways! They are a life time commitment. Do not just adopt a puppy because they are cute. They are living things that require time, money and love. I think we have just found the best dog in the world and will give Scarlet all the love and care she needs. So far no one (after 2 days) has made an attempt to find her. If I am wrong about this dog and she just escaped I will apologize but why has no one reported her missing????? It is another example of bad behavior in our priviledged society! And it pisses me off!!!!!
