I cannot begin to express what Bob Rosen meant to me. He encouraged me to Chair the Junior Committee of the ACBL, and the USBF committee that succeeded it. We worked together with the great Charlotte Blais to create the massively powerful Junior Teams who are the amazing Open players of today. For over twenty years Bob guided me through the politics, supported everyone all the time and when we retired from the program, Andy OGrady and he encouraged the formation of Tournament Bridge Services and the Great American Bridge Tour. Me particularly personally, along with everyone who has worked with us owe our careers to Bob. I am heartbroken that I will not be able to seek his counsel on this plane, for he never gave me poor advice. Our family mourns his loss. GS Jade Barrett
