I cannot even put Ben Caldwell into words. As excited as I was, he was just as excited to be able to take me to do this. We have so much fun together. We are so lucky to live the life we do. These are just a few of the pictures that we took. For those interested, this was a tiger encounter at the Gulf Coast Zoo in Gulf Shores. This encounter is ending soon, but I think they try to get cubs whenever they can. They do these encounters to raise money for the conservation of the species and these babies will go back to the Marcan Tiger Preserve in Florida in a few weeks. Just a few fun facts -- Leonardo (white) and Raphael (golden) are brothers, born in July. They were very bitey and very misbehaved-- sort of a combination between a very bad puppy and a 2 year old, with all the skills of a cat although their HUGE paws (I. COULD. DIE.) made them a tad clumsy. They eat chicken quarters and bottles of formula and whole milk, although Raphael still prefers his bottle and lets Leonardo have his leftover chicken. When they are grown up kitties, they will be around 6 ft and 400-500 pounds.
