I cannot for the life of me understand the hostility of the Australian media towards Shapelle Corby. Even if she was guilty (a scenario so unlikely as to be ludicrous) she has already served a term far more harsh than any drug dealer in Australia ever gets. She was a law-abiding citizen of Australia and worked for a living, so why the extreme hostiility and detrimental reporting? Even SBS is guilty. I am ashamed to be living in a country where the majority of people couldnt care less about a great injustice and abuse of human rights by both their own government and media and by a foreign country where Australians are still happily flocking for holidays.
