I cannot survive in Nigerian politics - Lamido Sanusi Last - TopicsExpress

I cannot survive in Nigerian politics - Lamido Sanusi Last year, Lamido Sanusi (then Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria) told HARDtalk he will not be entering politics when he ends his term as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Early this year, he exposed a lot of corruption in government and was immediately suspended by the Presidency! Of course, that is the end of him in this current regime. Despite all his amazing work and international awards, he will never be CBN Governor in GEJs time. Being a good central banker does not make you a good politician, he said, adding he had seen enough successful people enter politics only to destroy everything they have built. Asked if he could persuaded to change his mind, Mr Sanusi said: I have been in Abuja long enough to know that I cannot survive for one year in that space. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: IS THIS THE FUTURE WE REALLY WANT FOR NIGERIA? A political arena where no decent person enters and survives in one piece? Governments where decent and honest leaders are torn down, set up and flung to the lions? We have amazingly talented men and women positively affecting the world in their everyday lives, but the good ones believe, nay KNOW that Nigerian politics is not for the visionaries, the intelligent, the strong and the godly. It is for thugs and tyrants, thieves and despots, murderers and criminals. HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON??? Join the movement at https://facebook/PACINNig
