I cant believe Im having a debate behind Bobby Shmurda. .... Shit like that (pardon the language) irks me, Ill explain .1st, I understand the music industry, and business period, so in terms of generating maximum income, most labels would encourage their acts to stay on top of latest trends, broadening their brands, fans and etc by any means necessary. Fine. Currently saying nothing on a dumber level will get you noticed. We know that already right? With that being said, do any of you support what is currently considered hot simply because its what is available, the artist is from your area, or just off G.P.? Me? I come from Brooklyn, NY...in an era that just doesnt accept anything, and is not easily impressed by nothing. If something was accepted, the praise was earned best believe. And this attitude applied to whatever one endeavored in (at least seriously) . Now some of the same individuals from the same era have come to gravitate towards the current trends, which are just........horrible. A brother is trying to justify to me (as if he needs to) as to why myself and others from my area need to support his music as a means of him.doing something positive , and it is better he is doing this instead of being a statistic........... I wonder if the brother even bothered to hear his music or is probably a statistic himself saying some foolishness like that as well as supporting it. My bad yall, #endsrant
