I cant believe how heartless some of the professors that work here can be. My grandfather passed away a few weeks ago, and I had to miss a few classes to be with my family as well as attend his wake and funeral. I explained the circumstance to all of my professors, and most of them were extremely sympathetic and understanding. However, one of them in particular gave me unexcused absences for the 2 times I had to miss class. Participation in worth 30% of my grade for this class. Im livid. Should I try and fight this or should I just forget about it?
