I cant express how good and confident I felt after walking out of this Neuro doctor in BR! I have gotten Peys complete medical history and boy did that help! It was so time consuming but so worth it!! I went through the whole story from with Pey got sick in Dec and my feelings on it poss not being meningitis. She went through all his labs, MRI, EEGs and said she agreed we can not say it was truly meningitis b/c we have no test confirming that. She was very concerned with his 1st EEG b/c she said it def should frontal lobe seizures and just b/c the 24hr didnt show any does not mean he isnt having them. These test can be very hit or miss. She is wondering if all the screaming and ect is in fact he is having a seizure and he truly is in pain. I recently found out my aunt and grandfather both had these episodes also. Nocturnal frontal lobe seizures are hereditary. She could not believe that he wasnt scheduled for a follow up MRI to make sure his brain is healing as it should and it isnt showing anything else. So we are doing another sleep deprived EEG on April 10 then we will meet with her right after to set a plan. She also wants to do another MRI in June since that will be six months and should show improvement. I have walked out of every doctor appt with a knot in my stomach even when they said it was all fine. I just knew we needed more follow ups. I cant explain the way I felt but I knew God was telling me this is the right place. I didnt get great news but finally I feel like we r going to get to the root of ALL this! Please pray for sweet Pey b/c hes not gonna be happy to do these tests again. I hate hate putting him through this again but I feel in my heart Im doing right🙏
