I cant wait to see my Senketsu completely come together. Its really cool to see everything weve bought go from pieces of fabric and foam board into a badass costume. I know cosplay is cosplay and yadda yadda, but this project is really showing me how people really respond and react to someone coming into their own and really honing their skills. Its a sad feeling when people you look toward for support wont so much as acknowledge the hard work youve put into something because for whatever reason they didnt expect it out of you or are afraid of you becoming a better crafter. Yes; my costume is going to be badass. No; its not going to be the best, but weve worked hard and it shows. So what if Im not the ideal Ryuko? Im gonna rock it and have fun and probably get kicked out of Otakon for indecent exposure. Shawn and I have had SO much fun working on this project and trying out new things. Thanks to those who have helped with the project in any way and have gave positive insight and constructive criticism :D
