I closed my eyes as I readied my self to sleep when this memory popped out... *it was mid october year 2011, sunday afternoon. Manila that time was in great storm and the streets between dapitan have been flooded. I was standing at suki market watching the flood encircling STP. That time, I prayed hoping for the flood to subside (cause I have to catch up with my fellow youth for our meeting and really, Im afraid to barge into a flood, not wanting to acquire a deadly disease) but to no avail the flood kept on rising. I was in awe when one of the youth replied to my text saying that theyre waiting for me at STP gym. I replied stating that Ill be there but I have to wait for the flood to subside enough for me to pass through and hire a tricycle. Gladly, I was able to reach STP and I was trying to control my tears when I saw them... Half wet, barged into the flood with nothing but only slippers. I was so touched to know their struggle going to STP just to attend the meeting. I am so proud of you dear youth :) (sino nga ulit yung iba? Sorry, need ko na atag magmemo plus gold... :(* *i thank you for your loyalty... :) sleep na ako :)
