I consider myself a rebel not in the context of south Sudan conflict but if you test me with “kiirometer” (regime standards of determining loyalty) I might be just that. However, the rebellion I am talking about is going against norms of your society. If you choose to be a rebel then be a good rebel and here is my blue print to that . When making unpopular choices, never say I don’t care what people thinks” unless you know for sure the outcome of that choice will give critics wow movement. Make choices base on principles but not on emotions. For example if lighten my skin (bleaching) that will be emotional choice i.e I want to be love, look good and many others reasons that come with it. But if i was light skin person and temporally darken by skin in the summer to avoid skin cancer this choice base on principle dictated by nature. There is nothing hurtful like coming back with tail between the legs and folks will be like…. Didnt we tell you so?
