I consider myself an independent because I dont fall in line with ONLY Republican or Democrat views. I Dont fall in line with ONLY conservative or liberal views. I assess every issue without bias and research as much as I can on the subject. I do agree that the majority of outright conservatives on my news feed are very bitter, negative, or show a lot of fear with conspiracy. In normal convos with my friends I dont see it, but if you collect their FB posts, its very apparent. Of course it is not all, but easily the majority. I just wonder why everyone falls in line with the constraints of their party and doesnt approach each issue with an open minded view?
