I couldnt agree with JP Maroney more here. Yes, there will be people who offer advice and tell you like it is in a true effort to support you. However, there are many people who are going to criticize you and belittle your dreams because they get uncomfortable. They are afraid, and because of that, they will attempt to hold you back. I have made the effort to walk away from people like that. And in situations where I cant for some reason I definitely limit my time with them, and when they spout their poison I remind myself in that instance of the reason they are doing so.
