I couldnt let today go by without paying tribute to my dear friend Autumn. This post wont make sense to most of you but to those of you who have been around awhile...it will make you laugh. And I know if my friend could read it, she would laugh the loudest. Here goes: The Gopher Girls...Going to the Chapel sang in perfect 3 part harmony complete with exaggerated speech impediments...sitting up in the hide-a-bed eating guacamole with NeNe yelling GO TO BED!...pooling our change to buy 2 der weinerschnitzel chili cheese dogs for three of us to share...del taco...3 clutches in the little blue datsun...stuck in the flooded overpass coming home from disneyland; the ride with the probable serial killer and the ravine (david rescuing us and giving us a lecture all the way home!)...making up testimonies on the way to church to get out of trouble for being late AGAIN; walking in with Dad on the platform stalling and giving us the stink eye!...David dancing with the lamp shade on his head; autumn telling him that no one thinks youre funny while the rest of us were laid out!...sean asking fred to hold his bowling ball for a minute and then leaving to go home...the 15 lb box of chocolates that one guy gave all three of us for valentines day...all of us living in my little apartment for a short time while david went back to get your things to move you to nashville...tyler asking me if snakes have necks, destiny liking my nose but not on my face...savannahs face when the salad was dumped in my purse...sitting on the 10 rolling up the window on toms hand while autumn begged me to stop before i broke it...the lunch at pepes that turned into dinner...uncle dick telling us the parties over. Well, my friend, the party isnt over. In fact, its just beginning; youre just getting there ahead of us. You have left an indelible mark on my heart and life will never be the same without you here. But when we get there? Its ON! I love you!!!!
