I decided to do my spring cleaning here rather late last night - I hope it is easier to find things now. Because of the way Mr FB is behaving, it has been suggested that I put costs of items in the comments rather than on the main photo, so I am giving it a try. Do let me know if something doesnt appear to make sense, or you find a half-eaten dog chew or old coffee cup that I have missed during my tidying frenzy ;-) Charities! I clean forgot to pop up a post in the afternoon regarding the charities we will be supporting this year - so here we go *cue drumroll* 1. Galgos del Sol - greyhound rescue in Spain, and these people work their hearts out! 2. Hounds First Sighthound Rescue - a previous favourite here on this page and they do sterling work for UK sighthounds. 3. Prince Fluffy Kareem - Egyptian horse rescue, fabulous people - I cannot praise them enough! 4. Sirius Dog Sanctuary in my old home of Cyprus - while I have seen many positive changes to animal care in Cyprus, there are still far too many cruelty cases and abandoned dogs out there. 5. The Horse Trust - a UK charity that rescues and rehabilitates horses and ponies in need. 6. The New Arc - our very own local wildlife and animal rescue centre here in the North East of Scotland. They work tirelessly to save a variety of birds, wildlife and domestic pets and are simply lovely folk. Thank you all so much for your nominations - and I have kept a list of all charities nominated to choose from next year. To kick-start the fundraising, I have decided that £5 from every Celtic Storm bracelet sold this year will be popped into the charity pot - it was one of the most popular makes so fingers crossed we sell a few this year :-)
