I decided to make the best of being in Nicaragua. I have been recruited to introduce German and English speaking retirees to some of the most amazing and affordable, park-like properties I have ever seen. Just spent the day visiting resort like, gated communities with building lots still available. Some lots are as big as two acres and are offered for as little as US$25,000. Private riding stables, private club and spa, private docks on a lake that allows only canoes, kayaks and sailboats. All are single home lots, but there may be a few townhouses approved if all goes well. Im also starting a security service to protect gringos and their properties. Mostly focused on protecting crops, building sites and vacant buildings, but also acting as personal protection / interpreters for anyone wanting an added level of protection. Amazing how positive the response has been from the expat community, especially the part-time residents who do not have live in servants. I initially only recruited a couple of people to provide security, but obviously will have to find more people soon.
