I declared war on doves some time ago, and today they won another battle. Birds in general are beautiful animals, but when it comes down to it, they are filthy little devils. My old airplane parts are subjected daily to their caustic poop carpet bombings that causes aluminum and paint to corrode at alarming rates. They throw up into each others mouths and if you ever have the opportunity to see one of their lairs, then you will see all of the nasty little worms in their vile nests. So this afternoon, I pulled the trailer under the huge magnolia tree in the front yard to hoist up the Buick engines to remove them from the trailer. As soon as started using the chain fall, the doves opened up fire on me with one of there poop bombing raids. Luckily there were no casualties other than all of my tools needed a water hose down. As I continued to hoist up the engines, junk continued to rain down on me from the tree(mostly fire ants). After I was done, I went in the house to get in the shower. Thats when I noticed in the mirror that I had taken a direct hit in the top of the head and there were little nasty worms all over me from their nests. This is the second time this year their little nest worms have rained down on me. War is hell. The only good dove is a dead one.
