I detest shopping at the Kroger on Six Forks at Wake Forest and havent set foot inside there in maybe two years, but since I was having the oil changed in my car in the same shopping complex there right in front of the store and I needed a few staple items, I figured, How bad can this store still be? VERY VERY BAD is the correct answer. The shelves are still consistently in disarray and poorly stocked, the aisles are TOO HIGH, the organization of the store is nonsensical (why pray tell is charcoal and lighter fluid on the side of the store with toilet paper and not picnic supplies I ask you?!?), AND - the final insult - the checkout staff are either zombies, tuded up crackheads, or ornery middle-aged Middle Eastern men who speak NO ENGLISH and glare at all the female customers as if they wish to throw acid on them right then right there in the front of the store. To summarize, for me personally, the experience is so negative bordering on toxic that I doubt I will ever shop there again no matter how low their prices get or how many triple coupons they say they will honor.
