I did :-) In the same pool as yesterday, only today it was a full 50m! We were in for a longer session than usual, as Anoushka had planned a massive catchup. We slipped into an almost empty lane, and even if it filled up a little, there was plenty of room. After two weeks of about 4,000 a day, I was feeling it a bit, so I didnt have any real taste for speed. I still did my sprints, and then settled into the rhythm of the day, basic endurance free. I did 3x800, weaving in and out traffic, and then I relaxed for a while with some mixed strokes, before doing a set of 8x200, the last five as breaststroke (still passing the freestylers in the lane ;-) ). I staggered through my cool-down and then kept Anoushka company for her final four lengths of her amazing achievement: 5k of breaststroke in a little less than 1h 45! 6,600 of solid work, and then off to a delicious lunch :-)
