I did quite a lot of food prep today which is required with this lifestyle and best done when the fridge is full and the food fresh. I cooked up some chicken bone broth earlier in the week and have been adding it to everything l make. Tonight l added it to the cauliflower rice and the sweet potato bake and the flavour was enhanced in both. The chicken is for a picnic lunch tomorrow and l will have the rice with that. The cauliflower rice is extremely economical and l used a whole cauliflower which made masses of rice and the picture shows what is leftover from dinner which could easily do some lunches during the week. I added cumin to both the dishes which was delicious. I also had to prepare a separate meal for two of my children as they are fussy and l made a bolognese sauce from grass fed beef mince, Organic passata sauce and the chicken stock. My son commented that it tasted a bit different than normal and l vary the veggies l hide in it each time. Today it was a whole head of broccoli and 2 sweet potatoes which l put through the food processor. I have weaned them off the Spelt spaghetti and now they are having adzuki bean noodles with it.
