:( I did something dumb to my DO. I cooked a pork roast in it a week ago. I was busy due to holiday stuff and didnt wash the DO right away.....put it on the stove top and was going to get it cleaned up before bed. I forgot. For a week. I seriously thought I had cleaned it. It sat that way until this evening. I opened it up, almost hurled, tossed it in the sink. Filled with soap and water. ( idc what anyone feels about soap in CI. This situation NEEDED soap!) Cleaned out most of the mess, and what do I see....rust! I felt like crying but instead, I put in my self cleaning oven. :( I was too ashamed to post a a pic, and its already being stripped. Has anyone else ever done such a horrible thing to their own CI. I need comfort and someone to tell me its not ruined for good.
