I didnt know you can speak real life or death, until I was faced with answering the question of car accident victim. I had just witnessed the aftermath of a wreck and when I came to the aid, a child was sitting on the ground, head bleeding pools of blood. She had a deep laceration that looked unreal, exposing a thin layer of tissue before the skull. To keep her from going into shock, I constantly talked to her, asking her questions about herself so that she could stay conscious. Her mother was freaking out, as we all shouldve been, because this young lady should have been dead from the impact and this wound. As Im talking with her, she proceeds to ask me a question I will never forget: Am I going to die? In that moment, I had a choice. I couldve told her that the way it looks, she should be dead. Instead, I told her No maam. You are so strong for talking to me right now, when most wouldve been passed out or experiencing shock. God has plan for you! Hes not through with you yet. This young lady is only 11. Remember the power of your tongue and words. Speak life!!!!!
