I disagree with those condoning the racial protests/riots going on in merica. In both the cases of Trayvon Martin and Micheal Brown they seem to have willingly entered into physical altercations with armed law enforcement officers. In Browns case he had just robbed a convenience store. As a result of the altercations these kids were unfortunately shot. Do either of these events warrant the resulting race riots? For me the important issue in these events is why did the officers not have the option of using of non-lethal force like tasers. Also the display of militerization of the police force as a result of the demonstrations is very troubling. However I actually agree with the conservative pundits who say that turning this into a racial issue is unwarranted.
