I discuss many things with friends and colleagues which I never post here thinking I will appear like a mad man. One is how we need a railway line from Makaburini at Nyayo statium, along Uhuru Highway to University of Nairobi. We need it fast. Another line from Globe roundabout along Nairobi river downwards. This morning I heard that the County Govt was having exactly those plans and I thought, may be I should be a Governor. That would be a dissaster to the matatu sector in Nairobi. The other song I sing here is about having a County Public Transport. A govt cant leave such a vital service to private goons who will block a super highway in the name protests, unless the govt want to have a coup. The County Govts, transport executive said they will be bringing 200 County buses in a month or so and build on to 2000. Okey, if that came from Alfred Mutuas mouth, I would believe it instantly. But from the guys at City Hall, its we wait and see like Thomas. Meanwhile in Kajiado, the County Government is dead. Lets look for ways to help ourselves.
